🌵Greetings from the slightly chilly Valley of the Sun. I hope your new year is off to a fabulous start! Read to the end to find out about an amazing opportunity for you to find health and healing while relaxing in a serene and blissful setting 😌✨
😃As promised, I am starting this year off with a theme to my newsletter blog, and that theme is the Chakra System.
🫀Just like any other system in the body, the Chakra System is an essential part of how we experience health in our everyday life.
🌀The Character System is composed of several vortices that move energy in, out, and around the body.
⚖️Just like any other system, it can become imbalanced, blocked or sluggish resulting in a state of ill health.
👁This system is not seen by the naked eye, cannot be tangibly held in the hands and seems a little mystical.
💊It isn’t treated in Western Medicine, so it’s up to each individual person to become aware of it either through a holistic health friend (ME! 😁), learning about it through word of mouth, reading about it or seeing it on the worldwide web or any other number of ways it can come to you.
🪐Literally EVERYTHING in the universe is energy and vibrates at different frequencies, from a tiny molecule or cell in the body, to a grain of sand, to a nebulous cloud in the cosmos.
😟It would be a little ignorant to think that this system doesn’t exist or doesn’t need to be maintained to have a healthful life and happy body.
Originating between 1500 and 500 BC in India, the Chakra System was passed down through verbal tradition and the practices of maintaining it’s health is still very much alive in cultures worldwide.
Did this spark your interest? GOOD, because we are going to start right off the bat with Muladhara (Root Chakra), meaning ‘root support.
Oh by the way, the names of the chakras are first stated in Sanskrit. Please don’t call this a dead language…it’s the most ALIVE language there is and is considered a healing language. Quoted from Himalayan Academy of Sound, “In Sanskrit, the sound and the meaning are not considered as two different entities but as one and the same. In other words, the sounds of Sanskrit carry the qualities of the meaning on the very level of their vibrational frequency.”
Out the 7 Chakra System (there are many more in and around the body, but these are the most worked with) Muladhara is:
The element for this chakra is Earth. Similar to roots of a tree, your root chakra keeps you grounded and stable.
The chakras are associated with different body parts and organs and sometimes share these parts with other chakras. Muladhara is associated with:
This chakra corresponds to your:
This chakra is the most common to become imbalanced and when one chakra is imbalanced the others are affected by either becoming overly expressive or sluggish.
Here are a few ways that an imbalanced, sluggish or blocked Root chakra presents in both physical and emotional symptoms:
There are many ways to work with healing, balancing, and supporting the chakras. You can use these for Muldahara:
If any of this information is interesting to you or if you are recognizing that some of the symptoms are disrupting your ability to experience joy in your life, please feel free to schedule a complimentary first call with me and see if I am the right person for you, to help bring balance and flow to your chakras through the modalities that I offer.
Over the next several months I will be featuring a different chakra every other Friday, so stay tuned! Happy healing, friends!
